Getting it running
- Unzip the folder somewhere sensible —
C:\ScriptureCaster\is a good home. Avoid the Desktop and OneDrive-synced folders. - Run
ScriptureCaster.exe. - Before your first service, open a command prompt in that folder and run
ScriptureCaster.exe --selftest. It checks the screens, the fonts and the database on the machine that will actually be used.

What Windows will say
The download is not code-signed — a certificate costs several hundred dollars a year, which is not where donated money should go. Windows SmartScreen may warn you the first time. Choose More info → Run anyway.

Older versions and source
Each release is a self-contained folder, so keeping the previous one is as simple as not deleting it. If you want to build from source or check what the program does, ask — it is written in Python and the source is available to anyone who wants it.
